PORTopera's 2016 production of Georges Bizet's Carmen brings together an experienced cast to portray one of the most popular operas of all time. Carmen is scheduled for two performances at Merrill Auditorium: Wednesday, July 27 and Friday, July 29. The company's Artistic Director, Dona D. Vaughn, will stage direct, Maestro Stephen Lord returns to conduct, Maya Lahyani singing the title role.
